Flashbelt is coming… AGAIN

I'm honored to be speaking at Flashbelt again this year. I will be giving a two-hour introduction to Processing session. Check out the other speakers and workshops.

Mobile Apps

I've begun tinkering with Mobile Processing. This lets you use your knowledge of Processing to develop software that runs on Java enabled mobile phones (running J2ME). Very cool. I'll be posting my Mobile Processing projects here. To install them, use your phone's browser to go to http://p365.armatodesign.com/mobile Let me know what you think!

BE WARNED: this stuff is very experimental. I am running them on a Nokia 6555 but I'm not testing for compatibility on other systems. In theory it should work on a variety of devices, but if it doesn't work for you, I probably won't know why. And if it breaks your phone, it certainly isn't my fault. There are instructions for testing your phone.

My new blog.

I've been doing a lot of Processing work lately (both personal and for teaching) so I though a blog would be a good way to share it all. I call it P three-sixty 5. That's both a reference to Processing's nickname p5, and an allusion to my goal of writing a program every day for a year. We'll see how it goes...

Flashbelt was amazing!

A big thanks to Dave at Pilotvibe, and everyone else who worked to put on such a great conference; the volunteers, the other speakers, and of course the attendees.

Flashbelt is coming!

I will be speaking at Flashbelt in Minneapolis, MN on 19 June 2007. Check out the Processing sketches section for sample code and other info relating to my presentation, Processing with a Capital "P".
